Publication Ethics

The publication of articles in ENTERBIS: Entrepreneurship and Digital Business Study, published by Universitas Parna Raya (UNIPAR) Manado, strictly follows the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Duties of Editors

• Publication Decisions: Editors evaluate submissions exclusively on the basis of academic merit, scientific rigor, originality, and relevance, without regard to the authors race, gender, political beliefs, or affiliation.
• Confidentiality: Editorial staff must preserve total confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts during the peer-review process.
• Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Editors will recuse themselves from decisions regarding manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

2. Duties of Reviewers

• Contribution to Decisions: Peer reviewers assist the editors in making informed decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts through constructive criticism.
• Confidentiality: Any manuscript received for review must be treated as a confidential document.
• Standards of Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively with supporting evidence and clear academic rationale.

3. Duties of Authors

• Originality & Plagiarism: Authors must verify that their work is entirely original and properly cited. Any form of plagiarism constitutes unacceptable unethical publishing behavior.
• Multiple/Concurrent Submission: Authors should not submit concurrently the same manuscript to more than one publication outlet.
• Data Integrity: Authors must present authentic, non-fabricated research data.

4. Duties of Publisher

Universitas Parna Raya is committed to safeguarding editorial independence, maintaining ethical rigor, and supporting scholarly archiving.
