Abstract

Web-based Academic Information Systems (SIAKAD) represent a mission-critical digital backbone underpinning higher education operational workflows. Nevertheless, server congestion during peak enrollment windows, query latency, and usability frictions frequently hinder undergraduate productivity. This study comprehensively appraises the software quality and usability of Universitas Parna Raya SIAKAD adhering to the international ISO/IEC 25010 standard across Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, and Usability characteristics, combined with the System Usability Scale (SUS). Functional robustness was audited using 35 black-box test cases, performance benchmarking was executed via Apache JMeter and GTmetrix load engines, and end-user usability was measured across 100 active student respondents. Findings confirm a 100% Functional Suitability pass rate. Performance benchmarking registered an average HTTP response latency of 1.84 seconds with an 86% PageSpeed Grade B rating. The empirical usability audit produced a mean SUS score of 78.45, corresponding to an 'Acceptable' percentile, 'Good' adjective rating, and Grade B grade scale, affirming system operational maturity while guiding database caching enhancements.
